Megan Khang of Rockland, Massachusetts Chosen For 2014 USA World Junior Girls’ Team

Three players have been selected to represent the USA at the World Junior Girls’ Team Championship, one of them being a fellow New Englander! Megan Khang, 16, of Rockland, Mass. was chosen by the United States Golf Association along with Mike Liu, 15, of Beverly Hills, California and Angel Yin, 15, of Arcadia California. This championship will be held September 26th through October 1st, 2014 at Angus Glen Golf Club in Markham, Ontario, Canada.

Khang, along with being a junior at Rockland High School, is also ranked number 35 in the Women’s World Amateur Golf Ranking. Not only was Khang qualified for the 2012 and 2014 U.S Women’s Open Championships, she won the 2013 PING Invitational and was runner-up at the 2014 ANNIKA Invitational and the 2013 Junior Orange Bowl as well. Khang has made quite a name for herself and we look forward to seeing more from her!
